Hereby, pursuant to Art. 13 Legislative Decree. 196/2003 (“Privacy Code”), we provide users consulting http://www.federicogiardina.com with some information regarding the processing of their personal data.

DATA PROCESSED AND PURPOSE

DATA PROVIDED DIRECTLY BY THE USER

Personal data provided by the user optionally, explicitly and voluntarily are used for the purpose of carrying out any requests made (thus, for example, when requesting information or clarification by telephoning the numbers listed on the site or writing to the e-mail address therein).

NAVIGATION DATA

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, in the course of their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computer environment.

The data, thus collected, could be used to ascertain liability in the event of any computer crimes against the site.

NATURE OF PROVIDING DATA

With the exception of navigation data, which are necessary to run computer and telematic protocols, the provision of personal data by users is free and optional. However, failure to provide such data will result in the impossibility of being able to proceed with the requests forwarded or that the user intends to forward.

MODE OF TREATMENT

Data processing is carried out through computer media. Data are stored in electronic archives with the adoption of the minimum security measures required by the legislature. The data will be kept for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the requests of the interested party and in any case in compliance with the terms of the law.

COMMUNICATION AND DISSEMINATION

The data collected will not be disseminated or disclosed to third parties without the express consent of the person concerned, subject to any requests by the competent authorities, as stipulated by law.

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

The data subject may assert at any time, by addressing the data controller by sending an email to federicogiardina@ior.it, the rights referred to in Art. 7 of Legislative Decree. June 30, 2003 no. 196, which is quoted verbatim below.

Art. 7 Legislative Decree. 196/2003

  1. The interested party has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of personal data concerning him/her, even if not yet recorded, and its communication in an intelligible form.
  2. The data subject has the right to obtain the indication:
  3. (a) of the origin of personal data;
  4. (b) of the purposes and methods of processing;
  5. (c) of the logic applied in case of processing carried out with the aid of electronic instruments;
  6. (d) of the identification details of the owner, managers and designated representative under Article 5(2);
  7. e) of the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may become aware of them in their capacity as designated representative in the territory of the State, managers or appointees.
  8. The data subject has the right to obtain:
  9. (a) updating, rectification or, when interested, supplementation of data;
  10. (b) the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, including data whose retention is not necessary in relation to the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed;
  11. (c) certification that the transactions referred to in subparagraphs. (a) and (b) have been brought to the attention, also as regards their content, of those to whom the data have been communicated or disseminated, except where this proves impossible or involves the use of means manifestly disproportionate to the right protected.
  12. The data subject has the right to object, in whole or in part:
  13. (a) for legitimate reasons to process personal data concerning him/her, even if relevant to the purpose of collection;
  14. b) to the processing of personal data concerning him/her for the purpose of sending advertising or direct sales material or for carrying out market research or commercial communication.
